I hear ya. It's not quite as easy for me to get past the way last year ended. I am sooooooo disappointed and lost a lot of faith. Good football teams with good coaching get better as the season goes along. NU doesn't and hasn't under Bo's leadership.

Remember a few years ago when their motto was "Finish" as in 'finish the season strong'?

They abandoned that phrase the following year, didn't they?

Because Omaha Century Link would get the bid first.

I could see Pinnacle being host to the first few rounds of the NIT or CBI though.

My belief is that Lincoln can and will get events now, even preferred over Omaha. There will be regional NCAA basketball and Final Four/National Championship volleyball in Lincoln now. I predict they'll be putting in bids for both as soon as the opportunity is there.

Pinnacle/Devaney is simply better than Omaha for both Basketball and Volleyball.

The only argument I see for Century Link is the 3 or 4k more seats and the airport is there. Devaney will be the best volleyball facility in the nation, by far. Pinnacle is designed for basketball, located in a real college town and will sell the fuck out.

I'm already day dreaming about Huskers making the NCAA Basketball tourney and getting a regional in Lincoln. Holy shit~!
