Some of the older folk probably remember Bill Byrne from when he was AD here. He's the one responsible for bringing in Dave Van Horn and getting the baseball complex built in Lincoln.

He's AD at Texas A&M now and after Texas' controvercial win over Iowa St last night tweeted..

I'm going off of memory but this is probably due to the changes last year(or was it spring?) in recruiting rules. It allowed hiring of additional support staff.
