You should never believe what someone says about a month outside of the draft. If anything you should believe the complete opposite. So everyone with high hopes for Zeke should probably start wrapping your head around a alternative selection at 8.

I don't see anyone other than Elliott, Ramsey or Lawson being the pick.
Some have Lawson rated as a 15-20 pick so it's probably down to two.

I think that someone will trade up with Tennessee to get Wentz or Goff, and most likely for Wentz. The most likely is the Rams. They have the picks and future picks to get up there. They desperately need a franchise QB. that might start a lot of action of trades, so who knows what Howie will do. I do think he has one or two special guys he will whee and deal if he has to in order to gt him. Mack, Ramsey, Bosa, Stanley (I hope not), or Elliott (doubt it), any of these, or maybe pick cup picks to move back, and get Conklin for instance.

I'm going to throw out a Dark Horse for Pick #8 and that's DE Emmanuel Ogbah from Oklahoma State. I don't think there's anyone talking about this guy in the top 10, but the more tape I watch on him the more I think he can be a Michael Strahan type End at the pro level. Super productive player who is just scratching the surface ... then you look at his Combine; at 6'4" 275 this guy ran a 4.63 with a 36" vertical, a 10+ Broad and a 1.58 10 yard split. If you're looking for potential this kid is it imo ... if there is anyone who will be a surprise guy in the top 10 he has my vote.

If anything it means the opposite at this point. If one of their top guys doesn't fall to #8, and Elliott is on the board -- sounds like Howie is trying to stir interest for a team to trade up for Zeke. Believe nothing at this stage.

What I see is loads of potential ... right now he's an unfinished product, but this is the type of kid coaches can mold with his tools. And despite not being a finished product he racked up 11 sacks as a soph and 12.5 as a junior ... not to mention a load of stuffs behind the line.

Ognah has elite athleticism but you can't take a guy that high when he hasn't really produced like a top pick and is more of a project.

To me Ogbah's biggest issues are technique related which can be fixed with pro coaching. Despite not having great technique he's still produced very well ... so imagine what he can do once he cleans up his technique. How many college sacks did Ziggy Ansah have? Scouts draft on potential not college production (which Ogbah had as well). I'm not guaranteeing that Ogbah ends up in the top 10 ... that's why I said dark horse ... I'm just saying that I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being one of the top Sack artists from this draft 4 years down the line.

Over on the Ohio State site, some insiders are saying that Jerry and his son are loving Zeke a ton as well. I will NOT be shocked if Dallas takes Zeke. Now I didn't care for Zeke specifically saying that he wants to play for Dallas. If he wants to be a Cowboy, so be it. I think we land a stud regardless. I just wish the draft would hurry up at this time because I'm tired of reading 100s of mock drafts at this point.

I agree, I watched him pretty hard about a week ago, and came away very unimpressed....actually this cat impressed me a whole lot more.... Shilique Calhoun is insanely explosive! I'd take him any day over Ogbah...and Rey i'd take that bet!

Rey, relax. He may turn out to be great, but so far, I think he's overrated. I won't bet because some have him rated too high. So, yes, he may be picked in the top 15. i just don't want him @ #8.
