I did tell them it was semantics and that it’s fine to call it a 5 year deal but it’s technically a 4 year contract. You are right. Why run around doing the same argument we’ve been having for years. Plus I said on my daughters life AND got SteelersPride to verify the email for a top agent explaining it to them but even that’s not good enough for @Manster7588

2. Our QB gets hurt a shit ton and needs a good backup
3. Because they want to be a QB “factory”

Your order is off. They got him to be the backup QB because of Wentz's injury history and the fact that he can't be trusted to stay healthy. They may or may not envision him as their future starter in a couple/few years. In the meantime they will get him onto the field and use his skill set to run gadget plays which he should be good at, but that is not why he was drafted in the 2nd round. The QB factory thing is a bunch of hooey.
