John Robinson stated that he ran across a football field with Dickerson and you could not hear his pads rattle like a normal player. This was a big guy: 6-3, 225-230lbs and he was reported to have run a 4.5 forty consistently.

His biggest accolade was he ran like the wind on his toes and in a straight-up fashion with no apparent detriment to his ability to deliver and withstand contact.

In fact, he was incredibly deceptive and if you think you had an angle on him, forget it, he would blow right by like you were standing still.

The thing that really pisses me right off is the Queen Idiot traded Dickerson for a boatload of draft picks that she then effed-up and squandered into oblivion by not hiring football people who knew what to do with that sort of bounty. Stupid effing bitch!!

Not as fast as Darrel Green. I remember being astonished at Green running down Dickerson from behind after Dickerson had a 7 or 8 yard head start and a full head of steam.

When I was a youngin a couple buddies and me used to play a game we called interception. One of us was QB one was RB/WR and one was CB and we would rotate. We would always pick a player we liked and we were that player when playing that position, when I was the WR/RB I was Dickerson and that's when he was at SMU. And of course when I was the CB I was my all time fav player, Lester Hayes!
