I do, Michigan St made it a few years ago. Washington made it. etc. Not that I'm putting those teams down, just that you don't have to be considered the cream of the conference to make it.
Then you need to add all of the other teams I listed as well. It’s like how some sports are turning the Hall of Fame into the Hall of Pretty Good with lowering of standards.

Washingtons schedule is a lot tougher than Bama's.

You play a single SEC team and you think it's the biggest deal ever.

Meanwhile, when looking at SEC team schedules, none of those games ever count and only the OOC FCS opponent matters.

I'm not sure what the previous argument is. The ACC > Big10 because the ACC has gotten a team into the playoffs every year so far, has won it the same amount of times, and has more overall wins in the playoffs. While the Big10 has gotten shut out the last 2 times they've appeared by the top2 conferences.

Same reason the Big10 is 3rd and over the other 2 conferences. Which has a total of 1 playoff win between the 2.

LOL @ scheduling 3 out of 4 OOC cupcakes but the only one that matters is the .500 P5 game

Well the argument was they were trying to put Miami and VTech into the list of good teams. The list of “good teams” consisted of teams that Husker felt have a legitimate shot at making the playoffs. I would say there are several teams that were omitted that have a better shot at making the playoffs over VTech and listed some of them out.

Also it was only focusing on the upcoming 2018 season as oppressed to the entire playoff era.

Better than 2 out of 3 and a Pac12 schedule with it every year.

I consider them good teams that are capable any year of making the playoffs. Obviously they would have to be improved over recent years, same for any team that didn't make the playoffs last year, but they are the kind of programs that can do that.

Then we also need to add about another 10-15 teams to the list of “good teams”.

We all know why you don't want to look at conference games. The amount of importance you put into the Auburn game says it all.

I don't know what the list is currently, but there are a few elite teams and most of the top20 are "good".

UW has two tough conference games, and so does Bama, look all you want.

UW has 5 road games and 1 "neutral site"
Bama has 4 road games and 1 "neutral site"

They play damn near the same schedule :crazy::crazy:

Good Teams as in competing for the four team playoff

B1G Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin
SEC Alabama, Georgia
Big 12 Oklahoma
PAC 12 Washington
ACC Clemson, Florida State

I don't know what the list is currently, but there are a few elite teams and most of the top20 are "good".

USC, Michigan, Michigan State, Kansas State, Auburn, Ok State, Iowa; could easily be put into that discussion if we are adding teams such as VTech.

Oh, well that guy couldn't even get his first list right.

Iowa and K-State don't belong in that list though.

If you are watering it down enough to add VTech, then Iowa definitely can do it since they actually have a quality win in the last 3 years.

Neither are anything close to contenders in recent history. But I would say VT has the capability of taking it the next level while Iowa really doesn't have anything other than hoping for easy schedules on good talent rotations.
