A 1 loss team shouldn’t get in over an undefeated ND, let alone a 2, 3 or 4 loss team.
So you think UCF should get in over OU???

2012 (I believe) Wisconsin when Penn St and Ohio St had post season bans won the B1G with 5ish losses.5 or even 6 losses and won the B1G??? You realize 6 losses disqualifies lots of schools from even getting a bowl invite? That's pretty hard to believe, I'd like you to back that up.
Did UCF play a comparable schedule to ND or OU?So you think UCF should get in over OU???

So you think Ohio state wouldn’t win Purdue in a rematch? If you think winning a rematch of the team that beat you is a justifiable reason to rank one loss over another than you better have a hell of a lot more games than 11-12 a year.Ohio St. lost by 29 to a 6-6 team. Oklahoma beat the team that beat them by 3 by 12 in the rematch.
UCF didn’t play a P5 schedule. So you think UCF should get in over OU???
You are missing his point completely. No 9-12 team is going to beat an Alabama this year anyways. Bitching about gettin snubbed is a huge difference from bitching about being denied a chance at the title.News flash, going to 8 doesn’t solve the problem. In the BCS people cried that 4 would solve the problem, it didn’t. The NCAA tournament went from 64 to 68 and people STILL are crying about being snubbed. If you think the lines between 4-5 are close it only gets closer with 7-12. Washington would be up in arms over how a who didn’t even win their division is going to a P5 conference champ like Washington (the fact that Washington lost three games won’t matter to those people.)

Fair enough. I simply disagree. No team was snubbed this year — the top 4 teams were in the CFP.
Do tell us what the difference between being snubbed and being denied a chance at the title. You are missing his point completely. No 9-12 team is going to beat an Alabama this year anyways. Bitching about gettin snubbed is a huge difference from bitching about being denied a chance at the title.
Yes — 2012. 7-5 Wisconsin beat Nebraska 70-31.
Hell — Northwestern and Pitt both had 5 losses this year and played in their conference CG.
I never said that. But, Ohio St.'s defeat by 29 to a team that went 6-6 probably puts them below a team with one loss by three who then beat the team that beat them by 11.So you think Ohio state wouldn’t win Purdue in a rematch? Fuck the French.Being snubbed means you were denied with a French accent.
No problem. On one side you have a team simply wanting the media recognition of making it to a said playoff scenario for recruiting purposes, etc. This said team knows they have no chance of actually winning the title. On the other side ou have a team that has an actual chance that if they get hot, they could snatch the title from the better team.Do tell us what the difference between being snubbed and being denied a chance at the title.
Ok, that was kind of special circumstances. #1 - 2 better teams were banned from bowl games. #2 - apparently that was before the Division realignments because Nebraska and UW are in the same Division now.
So how rare is it that two teams from the same Division, and the top 2 teams in said division, are going to be banned from bowl games?
Did either one win? I thought the qualifier was winning the division, not making it to the ccg. I don’t agree with an auto bid from a p5 winner in an 8 team playoff scenario either, just stating The hole in your logic. You had multiple 5 loss teams in CCG’s this year. Northwestern and Pitt.
CCG won’t be used as automatic qualifiers for this exact reason.
