First, the Pistons no longer have the cap space to absorb _avi_ Lee's salary.

Second, the Pistons don't need another PF. If they deal Monroe, it will be for a point guard.

Lee's supposed weakness is defense. Monroe isn't really much of an upgrade defensively.

I would think we all love it, but if they move Monroe, I would assume it is to open PF for Smith, not an older player with a bad contract. I think the Dubs would have to add Barnes, but I still don't see any possibility of this getting done.
