It will improve. Don't want him at 1b long term but he's brilliant as our lead off hitter, so whatever it takes.

As long as he doesn't hurt himself figuring it out, I am cool with it. I hated playing 1B in rec leagues as a right hander, because it's awkward as fuck getting the footing right.

I'm on board, his bat right now is worth the occasional misplay at 1b

With my son out for the season I worried about the middle of the line up. Kid I put there did great.

Took me a couple reps to get my feet working right, but its not that tough with a little practice. Like I said before his value is more as a SS probably than anywhere else, so I don't want to see hime staying at 1B anyway

He's not gonna be starting at SS as a Ranger, so they gotta get him plugged in somewhere.

Problem is that is the only position available to him on the IF. Don't see any other solution at the moment.

We have been over this one a bunch and I see no light, but something is going to have to give somehow if he stays a Ranger. Lots of quality young guys and only so many positions on the diamond

Bob and Ray aren't stingy. Elvis' contract won't be the reason they don't get someone...Choo and Prince though...

As many of us have mentioned on this board the issue with trading Elvis is team chemistry. And the Rangers have some of the best chemistry. So I just cannot see him being moved. But between Profar and Andrus I want Profar.
