I would say it's the case of a veteran pitcher getting the benefit against a rookie hitter (Mazara), but that doesn't explain why a stud like Hamels wouldn't get the same call.

It's the David Murphy strike zone- a strike when it's way outside to a lefty but a ball in the same location to a righty. Terrible.

Yeah, I don't get it either, same thing happens to Choo & Fielder quite frequently and seems to not matter about the pitcher, mostly just handedness of the hitter...

Tag is rather quiet about how much better Prince is looking at the plate.

My God, Prince is just plain awful. I mean, he actually is an automatic out. It's not just a saying in his case. He looks as lost as Josh Hamilton did during his worst of times.

Not only is he swinging at way too many pitches out of the zone, but he can't pick up a breaking ball for shit. Has zero chance against a breaking ball it doesn't appear

And immediately they call a BS outside strike on Andrus, shouldn't have said anything

What happened in the royals Orioles game?
Ventura threw inside on purpose twice to Machado, and then Machado homered off him and just stood there and stared him down. So the next time Machado was up, Ventura drilled him in the back. Machado charged the mound and punched him in the face and a wrestling brawl ensued.

Approach against Keuchel tonight hasn't been anywhere close to what it was the last 2 times it seems like. Though he's throwing a lot of curveballs tonight

Anyone see the Royals-Orioles brawl tonight?

Saw it on replay......Ventura (KC pitcher) hit Machado and he charged the mound and got a "IMO" a sissy swing/connect....threw em both out.

Mark it....from this/that point on, all punches are going to be referred too, as "well, it wasn't an Odor connect," or "it's not like Roughed landed that one." ha ha

So sick of Fielder. He's much better on the bench where he can't hurt us
Betcha Prince and Moreland both play tomorrow

What the hell was Odor doing when Andrus was turning that double play?

not sure that helps your 1B on his first start there, would seem like it might distract him some

Nope....But I'll be your bestest friend forever if you'll do it again.

You've been on a pretty good roll here young man.
