We're really in uncharted territory here. I honestly have no idea at this point. Like you, I never expected him to pitch in the majors again. He's got to be down at least 20 pounds from his pre surgery weight. The notion that his velocity might improve as he is able to regain strength and muscle is a reasonable one, but not a sure thing.
From a pragmatic standpoint, perhaps Harry can take the long role pretty quickly. Have to think we are picking up a pitcher, with open roster spot although would not be surprised if it is a reliever.
Granted but if they can't recoup money and as mentioned the offseason work helps with the velocity then perhaps theta can be a stop gap. Of course relief is not intended to be his ultimate destiny. He has nothing on his fastball tonight so farThey've explicitly stated they don't want Harry in the pen.
Leo was fortunate last time. He seems to keep hitting everything on the ground. Just hit it where they ain't the first time up. And there is nothing exceptional about Nova.Be smart Leo
Off-topic.... but I actually like the ESPN broadcast tonight... (over FSSW)
Buzz thought it was going to DallasThat ball wasn't going anywhere to begin with.
Power just isn't there anymore. Whether it's the old age or thumb.
