This meltdown couldn't happen to a better group of folks. McCarthy, Ted Thompson and Rodgers need to go. Clean it up. #DrainTheBay. Wonder if those three have taken the knife out of Favres back yet?

I can agree with McCarthy having run his course. If Thompson is to stay I think the Packers have to change their mentality of how they run an off season. This whole not bringing in FA's thing while I appreciate them not going crazy buying up every player possible there is still some advantages to going out and filling in some holes through FA. They have just not been a great drafting team lately compared to others.

Rodgers has struggled for the last about season and a half for sure but I would never think to get rid of a guy that not too long ago was recognized as the clear best QB in the NFL. At least see what a new coaching staff can do working with him.

Ha 2007 the Packers had one of their best seasons under Favre. They had no problem throwing him to the curb months later.

Never thought I'd see "Rodgers needs to go" pertaining to Aaron Rodgers. You guys do have some problems at the moment, but letting him go is a huge mistake.

Rodgers isn't the problem.

He's one man show.

GB has 3 Rushing TD's

Guess who has those 3 (it's Rodgers)

Ha 2007 the Packers had one of their best seasons under Favre. They had no problem throwing him to the curb months later.

Just a bit different situation. Favre was 38 at the time with a clear replacement behind him in a 1st round pick Rodgers. Compare that to Rodgers now being only 32 which for many QB's one could argue is the prime of their career. Also what you got to love is that even a struggling Rodgers still last season threw for 31 touchdowns to only 8 interceptions and had a QB rating of 92.7. This year has a QB Rating of 96. Well above league average and is ranked right there with very clear starters like Ben Roethlisberger. He isn't that far off from performing at a top-10 level. The issue for Rodgers is that we have all come to expect him to just dominate everybody he plays. So even just a bit of a struggle that puts him as a borderline top-10 QB this year just looks terrible in comparison. He is still performing at a high level just not the MVP level. So I don't think he is that far off from being his old self. As I said maybe a new coaching staff helps spark a comeback in him to the top of the list.

Yeah, big changes coming to the Packers this winter I think, they need to keep Rodgers though. He's still playing some good football.

I've always been of the opinion that Fat Elvis was wasting Rodgers' prime. I don't like Rodgers, he's am arrogant prick, but he is still a top 5 talent.

I'd have fired McCarthy after the collapse against Seattle. A coaching change probably sets them back a bit last year, but they would almost certainly be in better shape this year and going forward. They are playing as bad as I've ever seen a Green Bay team play right now defensively.

I've always wondered if national sports figures post here incognito. I think Skip Bayless just outed himself.

lol get rid of Rodgers? Hopefully you mean Richard.

I could see McCarthy getting the boot. But IMO they should get rid of Capers first. That's been long overdue. Wouldn't fix the current problems, but its a step in the right direction.

I am sure they would be at least 10 teams lining up to sign Rodgers or trade for him, including my Cardinals. Rodgers is not the problem. If he signed a new 7 year contract right now with a team, he likely is looking at $28+ mil aav.

I've heard that Tony Romo looks good in Green Bay green/yellow.

Being a Lion's fan, I say blow this team up and fire the entire coaching staff and administration. If I were an intelligent football fan, I would say this team is having an off season, but there still a damn good organization.

Sorry, but my San Diego Chargers get first crack at this.
