That is a team leading(for starters) 2.41 ERA he is sporting now. His ERA is .26 lower than deGrom and he has thrown 3 more innings than deGrom.

He's proven himself. Now dude needs a contract extension. He might end up being even better than last year.

Hate to say it despite the elite stuff but three years of Teem may be more productive than 3 years of JDG. Have to roll the dice sometimes. Get that. Flags fly forever

Staying in AAA playing regularly to me does not mean he does not have a significant role with the Rangers. Do not catchers develop slower?
It is becoming rarer for teams to call any guys up straight from AA especially position players

How is he any worse than Leody and Bubba?

Leody is in a class all by himself. He has had a lot more big league at bats than the other two have.

I think most likely, both Leody and Bubba will have nice careers as bench players.

Some team will most likely give Huff a chance to start. I doubt he gets that chance here.

He wouldn't get as much playing time as he is now.

He has almost 500 AB above AA already.

I think other teams will value him higher than the Rangers do and that usually results in a trade.

Same with Acuna. Other teams will see him as a starting SS and the Rangers can't.

That could happen. Perez has been a pretty healthy pitcher, unlike the deGrominator.

It's not a debate. It is a question if he can produce more than Leody and Bubba. Those two are basicly useless at the plate.
