Oklahoma or Oklahoma state?

oops! Oklahoma St./ Oklahoma has gone up on my believe scale! And not because they beat a bad Notre Dame team. Just watching them and seeing them compete in all areas.

It really seems to be all about a team effort this year. It's not about the quarterback, a specific receiver, linebacker, or running back. Every week someone else steps up. That will take Oklahoma farther than jones' gaudy numbers ever did. They've still got work to do, but they could become a dark horse contender and should only get better.

I agree. they seem to have a fight in them I haven't seen in a while.

If you are referring to Wisconsin, I have said from the moment it happened that I am not recognizing the loss. For my rankings, Wisconsin is 3.8-1.2 (assuming an 80% chance that French makes the kick). And that one loss (by seven in the Shoe) is more impressive than either of Fresno's wins.

As for Michigan, they looked as good as Maryland against UConn and the Notre Dame win is more impressive than the West Virginia win. I don't think either team is very good. As I said before, there is not a huge difference between 19 and 33.

So, is Arizona State ranked with 1.8 losses?

And, as far as Michigan, Ok. State, and Maryland. I understand Michigan being ahead of Maryland if that's your reasoning. But, using that reasonsing to compare Ok. State to Maryland it doesn't work. Marylands best win is more impressive than Oklahoma States best win and Oklahoma State has a loss to a team Maryland beat.

That's a big part of it there. Landry never seemed to instill any fight in his team. This team seems full of it and Bell is a pure competitor that seems to bring that out in everybody. As much as I like knight's talent and believe in his future with the Sooners, this team seems to be willing to go to war for Bell right now.

Why do people think Maryland has any business being ranked?

Smart, you don't even have Maryland in your ORV? They're unbeaten and beat the team that just beat Okie St. 37-0

He is also claiming wins that were losses in his poll, so take it with a grain of salt.

He said it was because Oklahoma State really looked like the better team against WVU.

Have you even watched them? Their D isn't bad, and Stefon Diggs is a playmaker.

37-0 over WVU is fairly impressive, and the bottom of the polls aren't exactly strong.

Do you still have Wisconsin ranked?

yes, but what does that have to do with anything?

I agree that him having A&M at #2 is a joke!!! But that doesn't change your comments. It's called putting it in perspective. You call them "horrible" when it's convenient to your argument so I just wanted to get it on the record that Arkansas is so "horrible" so if Auburn loses to them I want to hear what you call them? :noidea: My true point is they are NOT "horrible". They might not be good but they're not "horrible!" They fought A&M to the end. Lets see how your tigers do against A&M? Hopefully better then 63-21 from last year or 24-7 loss to Arkansas last year?

That's exactly what has happened to Alabama this year; a different area has stepped up. Whether it was special teams one week, offense(QB or RB's) another, defense another, every week some aspect has risen to the occasion.

In the past Saban teams have come out playing on a very high level. This one didn't and needs to improve every week and peak at the right time.

"I don't recognize that game as a loss" could serve as one of the "Weekly LOL's"
