You were wrong and should apologize. It's that simple. No one is asking you to bow or kiss anything.

If you come off an elevator and bump into someone, do you not say, 'sorry'? I sure do.

Yeah it's probably because your fat ass knocks them out the door on the way out.

Are you trolling? Why would he apologize for accidentally posting the same thread as you?

Because we are all unworthy scum meant to bow down to her greatness. Didn't you get the memo? The team she follows has 6 rings and ours has 0 so we are worthless bugs that must ask her permission to even dare post our own opinions. After all, it takes your team having rings for you to know what you are talking about.

The unmitigated arrogance is simply astounding.

Due, you are constantly rude, and use foul language when you disagree with someone.

How do you expect anyone to take you serious or have a serious discussion when you are so antagonistic and rude?

Wizard is one of the more mild mannered and reasonable Seahawk fans.

If you want rude and foul language I can provide that for you if you'd like? If you don't believe me just ask Amburger. I don't think she has been back on this website after I got done with her.

Reminds me of OP when she wants an apology:

I beat you to this by 2 minutes.

No, what I want is for you to read the board before starting a thread to see if it's already been done. ;)

An apology?

It happens. I've done it and when I have I've apologized for it.

Nice spin....and that's all it really is.

Both our posts were about the HoF class. I posted before you and rather than admit you were wrong, you spin a cover story so you wont have to say, "I'm sorry" and actually blame ME for pointing out that you double posted.

I'm glad your guy made the hall - you still double posted.

The proper etiquette thing to do is apologize. I've done it and so have many others here.

Wizard, you were wrong. You double posted. Yes, it DOES happen. A lot of people here have done it - including me. And when I have, I apologize for doing so.

Your problem with this spin is you didn't do that. You posted this about the NFL HOF class. Look at your title.

Does it mention, in your title, the Seahawk being inducted? No.

If you had done so I wouldn't have pointed it out.

You double posted. You made a mistake. You just can't admit it.

Title of your thread was what?

Thank you. You double posted, and it's proper etiquette to apologize for it. It's not that hard to understand but rather than do that you'd rather spin it and say your post wasn't about the NFL HOF - even though that's in your title - but about YOUR guy being selected. (Grats on him being selected, BTW).

You can't admit you were wrong.

You made a mistake and rather than say, "I'm sorry", you call me crazy for wanting an apology?

You must be WONDERFUL to be married to.

Marvin Harrison and Tim Brown got robbed. They must of gave Andre Reed the last straw mercy award after 10+ years of HOF failure.

Also, I'm glad Jerome Bettis didn't get in yet. The guy was average at best. Curtis Martin the same. I can't believe Kevin Greene hasn't gotten in yet. That's a mystery to me. He racked up sacks his whole career on a crap Rams team. Strahan deserved getting in simply because he was so powerful and explosive at times and his sack numbers don't lie.

My guess is that they better let Andre Reed in now because there won't be any chance down the road with guys like Brown, Harrison and soon to be Owens, Moss, Ward and a few others getting close to their 5 years eligibility.

No Harrison? WTF. Just look at these numbers:

1102 Rec, 14580 yards, 128 TDs, 1 homicide

He got snubbed

I guess it was Reed's "turn". It's weird the way they treat WRs. I wonder if Moss & TO will have to wait too.

... the more I think about Haley, I'm not so sure he is that big of a snub.

He's not a snub at all unless we're giving DEs extra credit for rings now. He'll probably get a Vet's committee nod eventually.

He was a hired gun but so were others in the HOF...Deion Sanders and Rod Woodson to name a couple.Only Haley has 5 SB rings. I do agree that Ray Guy should be in the HOF. Congrats to all that made it in.

Haley was not even in the same universe as Sanders and Woodson. We're talking about 2 guys who are in the argument for GOAT at their positions... and what's with the girl fight that's broken out here. Is there another HOF thread for the adults ?

Moss deserves first ballot easy. He blows away very receiver ever not named Jerry rice.

I think Moss and Owens on and off the field antics might cost them their first ballots. Who knows though the way these receivers are getting in and the order they are getting in seems absurd to me.

He finished 5th all time on the rushing list. That's average to you? If you want to say that numbers don't lie, then how do you say he's average?

My response was about 'a hired gun'. I was not comparing Haley to anyone and not against players who played different positions. IMO Haley should be in the HOF.

Personally, I don't get why being a 'hired gun' matters at all. If you were brought in and given a lot of money to win a SB - so what? Peyton Manning sure was in Denver. Does that lessen what he's done?

I know there are many who never want to see a specialist like a punter get in but Ray changed Special Team play and redefined the punting game. If they didn't enshrine him, they at least had to put that right leg in. Really glad to see Walter Jones get in although I thought that one was a no-brainer. I hope Starhan getting in shuts Sapp up but I doubt it will.

As for the snubs, I don't know, the more I have thought about it since the recent thread on who we thought should get in, I'm okay with Marvin Harrison not getting in just yet and the more I think about Haley, I'm not so sure he is that big of a snub. He was a hired gun on already championship caliber teams. He was a really good player but I'm on the fence with him.

I agree. Again ...my response was about a hired gun to help a team's chances to get to the SB has been done before and should not take away from the player's body of work.
