No Harrison? WTF. Just look at these numbers:

1102 Rec, 14580 yards, 128 TDs, 1 homicide

He got snubbed

No, what I want is for you to read the board before starting a thread to see if it's already been done. ;)

So he can't start a thread that you started 2 minutes prior? For all you know, he was in the process of creating such thread as you where finishing, so shut your mouth.

Lot of nerve coming from the guy that starts the same repetitive racist threads every other day.

Stupid ass.

Jerome Bettis didn't get in cause he averaged like 1 yard per carry.

Wow, just fucking wow. I'm with Harold and the give a fuck meter. Anyway, to the actual topic at hand, I think everyone that got voted in were the right call. I am especially happy that after all these years of lobbying for it, the voters finally saw fit to let Ray Guy in. I know there are many who never want to see a specialist like a punter get in but Ray changed Special Team play and redefined the punting game. If they didn't enshrine him, they at least had to put that right leg in. Really glad to see Walter Jones get in although I thought that one was a no-brainer. I hope Starhan getting in shuts Sapp up but I doubt it will.

As for the snubs, I don't know, the more I have thought about it since the recent thread on who we thought should get in, I'm okay with Marvin Harrison not getting in just yet and the more I think about Haley, I'm not so sure he is that big of a snub. He was a hired gun on already championship caliber teams. He was a really good player but I'm on the fence with him.

He was a hired gun but so were others in the HOF...Deion Sanders and Rod Woodson to name a couple.Only Haley has 5 SB rings. I do agree that Ray Guy should be in the HOF. Congrats to all that made it in.

Yes, they were. Didn't Deion get like 35M from the Cowboys? I think Rod left Pittsburgh for more money in SF. Can't really fault a player for being a hired gun, that's the point of FA.

That's what Peyton Manning is, really.

Haley should have gotten in.

I can't say I agree with them not grabbing either Jerome Bettis or Kevin Greene.

If you're going to put Curtis Martin in the HoF, how can you not grab Bettis?

Bettis may get in eventually for the longevity he had, 13 years as a RB is incredible.

But he's not a 1st ballot HOFer.

Holy fuck you are crazy. You are now going to go off on another 20 fucking posts because someone else dared to make the same post as you. Seriously, get over yourself. Apologize? I mean really? It's not like I did anything wrong. Double threads happen. It doesn't require someone to be 'wrong' for it to happen. Spin? It's spin to want to give a shout out to one of OUR hall of famers? :tsk:

Due, you are constantly rude, and use foul language when you disagree with someone.

How do you expect anyone to take you serious or have a serious discussion when you are so antagonistic and rude?

This wasn't his first ballot, he retired at the end of the 2005 season. I agree he's not first ballot.

I think it may take the Veterans committee to get him in.

His total yards are a result of his longevity and he played behind some great lines.

He will probably get in, just not over the players he has been up against each year, most of them deserved it more.

Is this kindergarten? ( seems like it at times, I know) and I am not taking sides or defending anyone.

Just pointing out there is no reason to use foul language, especially if you want to make a point and have anyone take you seriously.

It's impossible to have a discussion with people like that and if you notice a majority of them are Seahawk fans.

Way to have an open and frank discussion like a reasonable person.

This general board is just like CBS was, a bunch of foul mouthed sarcastic and pretentious jerks who would not dare to speak like that to another person like that face to face.

Grow up people.

Charles Haley snubbed......

The fact that he pretty much alienated himself from just about everyone around him during his playing days doesn't help him out. It shouldn't matter but unfortunately it does. The guy was a nightmare to share a locker room with.

She deserved to be called out. She was. It's that simple.

Foul language is part of life. You might as well get used to it.

I spent 8 years in the Army. I am plenty used to it. It doesn't mean I have to like it or have to put up with it.

At some point in life, you grow up and realize that if you want to be taken seriously and want people to respect you, you act respectfully and stop acting like a jerk.

But by all means, continue to embrace a culture that seems to be the demise of civilization.

It's a fucking message board. :L

As for respect, I respect people who are worthy of respect. People who aren't? Fuck them.

No this isn't kindergarten, it's a board for adults , SportsHoopla explains that from the get go. Colorful language is something you'll run into on a typical day in public, and I would bet money you won't call them out for it in person. If foul language offends you, SportsHoopla may not be the site for you, because your going to run into it and not just from Seahawks fans by any means.

If I offend you so much and make posts you can't discuss with then by all means feel free to ignore me or even put me on ignore. You act as though every post of mine is just a foul mouthed rant and that simply isn't the case. When it comes to this 'lady' I talk in the only language she seems to respond to. It's called talking to the level of your reader. If you haven't noticed her stalking and blindly attacking all Seahawks fans then I'm guessing you haven't been paying attention.

I will say that not having you take me seriously isn't going to make me change what I say. It just isn't. You weren't the intended recipient of that message and frankly you haven't been kind to any/many Seattle fans anyway so I doubt that had I spoken in a different tone you all of a sudden would have found respect anyway. In fact, no matter how I've posted on any topic I don't recall you treating me with this respect you think I should use on others. I guess it is only expected from others right?

When someone DEMANDS people apologize for making a post at the same time as they did, but yours comes out slightly later I'm not sure what YOU call it, but I called it like I saw it. So it took me longer to embed both of tweets I put in mine than it took her to paste hers out. What on earth does someone owe an apology for? You'd have thought I ran into her car or something.
