my brother can attest that there are more asswipes than good people in vancouver sports media but its the same everywhere ... here they focus on hockey ... other north american cities do the wall to wall to other sports

I was unaware. Thanks for the correction. Don't read them anymore, but I was less than impressed with the Vancouver hockey beat writers way back when......as I am with Garrioch, Strachan and the like in different parts, lol.

True. I wish the U.S. or at least San Jose would over-analyze hockey like they do up in Canada. Down here, our "Home of the Sharks" radio station (KNBR 680) still has this as it's intro (an excited Dan Rusanowsky Sharks radio guy) "Rebound.....Setoguchi.....HE SCORES!!!!!"

Even though I have a lot of respect for David Pollak, he lobs up soft toss to Doug Wilson, Todd McLellan and Joe Thornton and the rest of the bunch. THIS was his toughest criticism in an article that I can remember:

I've been thinking about this for some time and jstew's post above reminded me again of it (which is a good thing). I think we should ask Ghost if we can incorporate spoiler tags into a post. It would basically allow you to hide a picture that could be deemed NSFW, but also include a button that would enable the viewing of the picture.

I've seen other message boards that are powered by the same vBulletin software have this feature, so I know it's possible. I'll copy this into the Q&A forum and see what Ghost thinks.
