Tough wasted comeback. Need Hamels to shut em down tomorrow. Looks like only help we get is what we give ourselves

I don't see Houston or LAA winning out so I think as long as we go .500ish we should wrap the division at the end of the week.

Hamels on the hill tomorrow. He will right the ship and stop the bleeding. We won't be facing a pitcher as good as the one we saw tonight until we face the Angels.

I don't have a good feeling tonight.

I missed all the runs Colby gave up but was listening to on the radio but what was the deal with Banny coming out to talk to Colby in thoughts he was going to take him out but leaving him in again only to see Colby give up that 2 run single to break the game wide open?

Not knowing all the circumstances that seemed to have been a Banny blunder.

If we win the next two and spilt with Angels, we should get it unless Astros roll the table

The last few days have sucked. We just really need a win to stabilize things. If Detroit sweeps us, we might as well forfeit the Angels series and tell them not to come down here. We're not in trouble yet, but I see people starting to adopt " the sky is falling" mentality already.......

We have lost 3 games to the Astros in the standings in three days. Something needs to change quick.

Sonny Gray out for season. Zito goes on Wednesday with his 18.00 era. Good chance Angels sweep.
Rangers need to go 4-3 on this homestand to win it. That means only 2 more losses.
Doubt if Astros go 5-0 and win 8 in a row to end season.

Wouldn't surprise me at all, they are better than they have played the Rangers this year. Their starting pitching is better than most teams rotations and they can score runs in bunches w the HR's.

This team has started a colossal collapse. Unless they take the next 2 from Detroit, they will end up losing the division lead. The Astro's and Angels are just playing better baseball at the right time. I believe that is 9 in a row for the Angels.

Quit being a crybaby..... This team has 6 games left. Anything can happen. Hamels is pitching 2 of those games. We are the only team in the race that has the luxury of playing all the games at home. Lewis just stunk up the joint, I expect Hamels to be pretty good against a Detroit team who just wants the season to be over. Verlander might have been the most dangerous pitcher left on our schedule ( weaver is a shell of his former self).

You guys need to realize that if this team wins 3 games in a row, the Rangers will have a 2+ game lead on everyone in the field with only 3 games to go and 2 of those games is against Detroit and the last one is against the Angels who won't be throwing a top notch starter in game one. We just need a win and a loss from someone else to settle people down and I think we get the win tonight for sure. If the fans in DFW are any good, they will sell this place out and get behind the Rangers.
