I was annoyed by this too. Would have been nice if they had allowed another way to see the regional games.

Though I obviously didn't miss much in the Sabres game

They were on both NHL.com and NBCSports.com

I celebrated by going someplace tropical for the weekend where I watched about 30 seconds of highlights over the weekend.

Went from hanging out at the beach yesterday to shoveling snow today. Ughh.

Also, the quality of the NBCSports.com feed was pretty crappy for Was-Buf game.

S video cable. I hook my laptop to my bigscreen tv and find feeds of HD quality.

Not to me they weren't. Just another regular game. However I had no choice in the matter of my trip or the timing of it.

I think you pay more attention to the Habs than you do the Bruins.


So as for the game, was it as markedly unremarkable as the rest of the outdoor games are? Besides the outcome making Dash (and Jeff) very happy. I have it on DVR but just because I wanted to watch if anything happened, not because of the outdoor factor. Looking at the box score, I see no reason to watch any of it.

I have to admit that when the Wings were in the classic, my main thoughts were "Just win dammit, so we can move on..."
