I have to say I loved it. Watched two games on NBC follwed by the Heritage Classic on Versus 9 hours of hockey. I didn't have to hear about the cocaineball all star game, I still don't know who won and don't care.

All day hockey is pretty sweet. Center Ice is good for that on the weekends.

Somewhat OT, I was pissed that in yesterday's paper the front page had an article and a picture about the NBA all star game (really who cares?) and had zip about the local junior teams' game that night against their arch rival both of whom are batting for first place in the conference. Not even one sentence. Really pissed me off.

So America didn't get a choice in what game to watch for Hockey Day in America.

I celebrated by going someplace tropical for the weekend where I watched about 30 seconds of highlights over the weekend.

Went from hanging out at the beach yesterday to shoveling snow today. Ughh.
