Smith looks very shakey under pressure

There are few QBs who truly thrive under pressure. For that reason its important to put pressure on the QB, whoever it is, and to protect the guy you have. I'd be happy to get pressure on Smith (especially if holding their RB's to 3.2 ypc).

Any word on his condition yet? I haven't found anything. If he can't go next week, you have to think that Bennett will slide inside where he's been more effective this year. Who fills in for him at defensive end will be interesting. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see Irvin get some snaps there if need be.

Smith was always terrible under pressure. Seattle used to destroy Smith on the 9ers when we blitzed often. Most QBs (including Wilson) don't play well under pressure. Brady in his 18-1 season included...

Big question is, can you get pressure? Seattle hasn't done an amazing job of that this year. And Smith can check down to Charles which can turn into disaster real quick.

I heard Alex Smith has not thrown a TD to a WR this season.

Their offense sounds a lot like ours, except we have a better QB.

Sure hope we don't play a sleepy 1st half next week (we will)

Smith is the king of dink and dunk....which is what everyones tried to do against the hawks this year.....
