Kinda of like the play in the previous series where Edelman tried to take out DRC? Bill, I thought you were a winner. Now you just sound like a little bitch

Of course it was deliberate, it was a pick to get another receiver open. Doubt they were trying to take Aqib out of the game though.

LOL @ Bill's bitterness. A 5' 2" slot receiver "deliberately took out" a dominant Patriots defensive player?

How embarrassing.

See my avi.

I don't care the Pats were not gonna win that game with out without Talib. Den had to many weapons and the Pats offense sucked.

It was a game changer for sure. DT went nuts after Talib went out, Pats didn't have an answer for him.

Yep and with all the other weapons and Peyton Manning they could afford not to target DT even if he had stayed in the game. Either way Talib was taken out of the game.

I watched the game I would like to see the link to the Edelman incident, I do not remember it.

1 player out of 53 goes down and your chances of winning are crippled? Sounds like the Pats weren't as good as you kept telling us, Mojo!

Maybe Welker just 'misinterpreted' the rule. :pound:

Yeah, the game changed after that for sure.

Still, that only explains how Denver moved the ball on the Pats - Talib being out had nothing to do with why the Pats only scored 16 points. No affect on Tom Brady overthrowing his receivers by 5 yards. It had nothing to do with Blount being stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey. (5 carries on 6 yards).

Vareen was 4 for 34.

PS..I don't hear BB complaining about McCourty mugging Thomas on that first trip down. I've never seen a more blatant hold on a WR in my life and it wasn't called.

Block was deliberate,e that's what the play calls him to do I think, but intent to hurt Talib sounds like sour grapes.

Maybe if you'd keep your best players on your roster you wouldn't have to worry about that.

And no, it wasn't deliberate. How fucking stupid would Fox have to be to risk injury to Welker early in the game, after already missing weeks because of two concussions?

Note to Bill: Learn from this and draft a defensive player who won't be "deliberately taken out" by a 5' 2" concussed slot receiver.

When Belichick resorts to this sort of juvenile bantering, we're witnessing a low point that the Patriots haven't experienced since Drew Bledsoe went down.

My 16 yr old son is a foot taller than Wes Welker.
