No two teams have met in the SCF 3 years in a row. This year the possibility of ending that fact was there, but the Wings elimination has removed it.

This is no slight on the Wings, they had a good run but just ran into a hotter, hungrier team, and there's no guarantee that my Pens make it to the SCF either. Just wanted to point out that amazing historical fact.

I was rooting for the Pens while the Wings were still in it, to go best of three. Now that my boys are out, I'm pulling for the Sharks out West and anyone but Pittsburgh out East :-)

Lots of good story lines out there though

Sharks vs. Pens: Who has the best one-two punch up the middle?

Sharks vs. Boston: Jumbo Joe back in Beantown, need I say more?

Sharks vs. Habs: The Cinderella story vs. a team trying to exorcise some playoff demons.

Nucks vs. Habs: The Cup goes back to Canada

Hawks vs. Pens: Two scary good, young teams loaded with firepower and rejuvenated fanbases.

Wow, no love for Philly huh? Oh well we wouldn't expect no one but us to root for them anyway. I guess there really isn't much of a story line there anyway.

i see philadelphia as the cinderella story. i doubt any other team would even make the playoffs without both of their goalies. let alone winning a round without their leading scorer, best winger, and best penalty killer.

I'd be rooting for the Flyers if they weren't playing the Bruins, the Flyers are my 2nd favourite team out East.

I was just giving you shit Eddie, The Flyers have a long road still to climb and I would like to believe they can overcome more adversity but I think it is unlikely, However I saw that they were really wearing down what is left of the Boston "D" and that as we all know could be disaster for a team. ( Remember, defense wins championships) or so they say, with Gagne back it gives Lava just a little more tweeking room, it will be interesting to see what happens first, if the Bruins"D" falls apart or the Flyer's injuries finally catch up with them.

Plus Heatley vs Chara: Bryan Murray will need Mylanta by the gallon.

The bolded one slone should have him reaching for the scotch and grabbing his well worn John Muckler voodoo doll.

Holy fuck was I wrong. SF, I hereby renounce any team affiliation I might have once had, and will be rooting for the Flyers until they are knocked out.
