Understood, but take it from a Yankees fan, those type of deals can and will probably handcuff your team from making other moves years down the road
I do think that most of the best teams develop through the draft but actually drafting amazingly well isn't always a sustainable trend. AGon seems fairly attractive just because it means you don't have to take any risks but you have to put someone there 3-5 years down the line. The argument for Posey is easiest but Catchers are always risky.
