Don't have any info or history at my fingertips to know if the penalty for pushing a ref that got Hicks kicked out of yesterday's game automatically translates into a one game suspension. I'm hoping it doesn't. Really stupid, stupid, stupid on Hicks part, especially considering we were killing the Bucs at that point. It's one thing if it's due to frustration because the team is getting their butts handed to them. But to be the one handing the butts out, that was just an incredibly boneheaded move on his part.

Sorry to hear that Sam will be out for the rest of the year. He wasn't playing too many snaps due to the depth of our LB unit, but he's always been one of the stronger contributors on STs, not to mention one of the most positive team-first players on the Bears. He'll be missed.

I do not believe Hicks will be suspended and I don't think there's any kind of protocol for that.

And yeah... Acho is a good special teamer.
