Is the stadium starting to fill up at home games yet?
They have supposedly sold out every game so far this year at home. Even preseason ones. Whether or not people are going though I cannot say.

I can't imagine buying those tickets, watching my team win, and saying, nah, I'll pass. Don't get me wrong, there are reasons to miss a game here and there, but you should be able to find someone to go. If you don't go because of religion, then you wouldn't have bought the tickets in the first place. I wish I lived in SF and knew people who didn't go. I'd find the casual fan, take all the tickets, and tell them they can have the individual game tickets on the day of, if they bother to go. They'd have to pick it up by two hours before kickoff or forfeit their claim. They might then not purchase tickets but they wouldn't waste the money or the seat. (I know this isn't realistic)
Don't most people go to games for the tailgating? The NFL is a pretty terrible product to see in person.
I disagree. I live in Vegas so it's easier and waaaaay cheaper to see the Niners against the Cardinals. We go every year and every year, it's amazing. Their stadium is a factor though. Last year was a monday night game so Steve Young was there and I called his name and he waved to me and I proceeded to act like a 12 year old girl lmao. Nothing can top that imo.
That stuff is cool and I get the appeal of the atmosphere but the constant long TV timeouts are terrible and you don't see the action well from most seats. If the Niners move to Santa Clara I will likely attend more games.
When you're drunk, tv timeouts tend to go quicker than usual lol.
