Brent doesn't piss me off because no one takes him seriously anymore. Plus he's always put a positive spin on Nebraska football. He's just a senile old man who no one actually listens to anymore.

By some of the comments he has made, there is some animosity coming from him against Nebraska. Read my post number five. Why would he say something like that, if he didn't have some animosity or maybe even some hatred against Nebraska?

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't think that way. It should be obvious though that some writers and analysts aren't fond of Nebraska. One of the writers who comes to mind is Barfneck, the weird herald sportswriter. I get the part about being objective, but he takes that to another level.

Everyone hates Ed Cunningham simply because of a couple games where he said we should have gotten targeting calls.

But watch any other game he calls. He says the same thing every other game, for every other team. It's not just a Nebraska thing.

He would be fired so fast if that was the case. The first thing they teach you in broadcasting and journalism is to know your audience. In the case of a commentator, their audience is the entire country. Fans of all different teams from all different states. They simply cannot be biased, or shit would hit the fan.
