True but the Giants roster basically sucks while the Eagles don't seem to have a weak spot. They're aren't many Giants that would start over the Eagles starter at their position. The Eagles are a beast

Totally get that. This award has always been for The Little Engine That Could coach. It celebrates the guy who took dog shit and was able to bleed an average team out of them. This is why we have guys like Dick Jauron and Matt Nagy who have won these awards in the past.

Or the other extreme which actually happened…nobody on the team won a single award. It’s all good. I love it. This team has been fueled by the disrespect all year.

I'm surprised to hear the disrespect part. Not that I follow these things too closely but I listen to quite a bit on NY sports radio and all year the shows I listen to have raved about the Eagles. The only issue going into the playoffs for some folks were some worries about Hurtz' injury not being totally healed. Then they destroyed the Giants and that went away.

It is stupid he won the award, only people coming back from injury should be eligible.

Disagree. I actually think the idea that some have a guy needs to be coming back from injury to win has kind of ruined the award. I'm glad they went another direction. I prefer a guy who went from sucky to good. Problem with Geno is to "comeback" you needed to be good in the first place, then sucky and good again.

All also an All Pro at Defensive end. When it was the sack exchange it was Gastineau and Klecko on the ends with Abdul Salam & Marty Lyons in the middle. Unfortunately for that team, Richard Todd's favorite receiver was A.J. Duhe.
