If a team was in the lottery or got odds for a top 5-10 pick for 12 years straight years...4 #1's would be impressive. So 4 out of 12 years is impressive but it's mindblowing considering the Cavs weren't in the lottery for most of those years.
Lottery Gods are making up for it last 2 years.....hopefully that new trend is done.

And for a city like ours that cannot attract an elite FA you need timing/luck. Need to get high pick when a star is there for ya.

We are always in the thick of things besides football. Typically losing, but the Indians were just in the world series a few years back and were up 3-1. Long droughts happen. Boston didn't win forever, and then all of the sudden they won a million times, just how sports is...

Except.... Cleveland never wins dick. Before the Cavs won the only title they will ever win, the Browns hadn't won a title since before SuperBowls were a thing, the Indians haven't won since 1948. So good luck with your fandom there.

Calm down? Um, I'm just talking sports with you. Sorry if you were triggered.

I do remember them barely losing a title in the middle of winning 3 of them. Was that Cleveland?

That is the only championship anyone actually remembers, is what you mean...The one they are going to be playing over and over again on ESPN, like they did just a few weeks ago...

Yeah if you ask anyone who won a bunch of titles recently with one of the best teams ever assembled, with a team that everyone kept crying had broken the league, no one can remember.

That's a bit harsh - I am sure they will get one in 30 years:lol:

Cold weather smaller market teams like Cleveland, Milwaukee, Minnesota, etc pretty much has to land a generational player to build around to win a title.

Possible for sure, but I wouldn’t bet on it for any of these teams that don’t already have that player (Milwaukee). Whereas teams like the Lakers and Heat are very safe bets to a title in the next 30 years.

I think its possible the Cavaliers can do it, but i was joking around when i said 30 years. Even 20 is a really long time when you think about

Well, the Cavs went 46 years before they won a title.

So, I have complete confidence in their ability to make it 50 years before their next one.

First of all -When I said 30 years - If you noticed(perhaps you didn't, I know Lance was too stupid to notice) that was a joke

That being said - I don't think you can compare the last 50 years to the next 50 - There have been many changes and there will be many more - Granted that it's not likely, but it's not written in Stone - I think there is a strong chance they get lucky in the next 30 years.

LeBron liked and went back - and things can change. They could get lucky like the Warriors did who got Curry and Thompson

Of course it was a joke. No way the Cavs win another title in the next 30 years.

Well, I suppose according the morons that used to be on ESPN message boards there is a possibility - those dumbasses seriously tried to argue that it was mathematically possible for the Lakers to win ALL 82 GAMES in the year they started what would be the second of the three titles - My argument based on solid studies in my probability and statistics classes - that No it wasn't -
