I have a serious decision to make. Next weekend is opening weekend for deer and also the NU-MSU game. I am in a quandary because while I really want to go to the game, going hunting opening weekend definitely improves my chances of getting a good deer. What should I do? My options are:

a) Go hunting and watch the game on TV.

b) Go to the game and not go hunting until the following weekend.

I know. I think I'm looking for an excuse to justify not going to the game.

You can hunt fucking deer into January.

Unless you're looking for a wall trophy (and gotta have it now) go to the game.

You'll remember the Mich St @ Nebraska forever (especially if NU wins), you'll forget a day getting skunked deer hunting in a week.

Not sure what your weather forecast is, but this side of the Mississippi, it is supposed to be a nice weekend.

I voted go hunting.

The only thing that I could ever miss seeing a Husker game for in my entire life would be if there was a funeral for a loved one or if I had some obligations to fill for my children.

That's why I wear condoms and I try my damnedest to keep everyone around me alive

I will see the game either way...just if I go hunting I'll watch it on tv and not actually be at the game.

oh, probably should have read the thread and thought about it more before voting. If you have a ticket you should go to the game, if no ticket and was just going to scalp or something, I'd go deer hunting and watch.

Speaking of, I snapped these picks of a whole big horn sheep village today at the gorge near Taos, at least 3 or 4 trophy's in the group of about 20

I've seen them a couple times. In the Black Hills, Colorado, Wyoming. Beautiful animals. Not something you see as often as deer though.

Make's you wonder how they can survive eating sage brush.

I mean I'll just be flat out honest with ye......

Deer are everywhere. There are like more deer than there are rats in this world.....

I have a chance to get a buck every year with my car if I want. It's like shootin' fish in a damn barrel.

I would go to see the Huskers play South Dakota State before I'd go out to shoot a deer en sech

Of course, hunting has never been a hobby of mine. I'm a fisherman...

I have friends on facebook who have cameras out in the woods taking pictures of deer and then rubbing one out over them. It's crazy how much some of ye get into it
