Can't beat potato salad

Potato salad is one of those things that is a broad range...you can fuck it up and add grapes or some shit to it, or you could add deviled eggs or bacon and make it amazing.

All will be judged by bigger games, as they should. (BTW, Burrow has crazy stats as well.)

Tua’s best trait so far is he has cut out the trying to be a hero every play. That stuff led to the injuries last year.

Amen, and his decision making has been spot on, which is good, because we have been getting way too much pressure sometimes for some of the teams we have played.

Taylor already had his bye week. Plus he only played 1/2 a game in week 1 and 2 in blowout wins.
So I’m sure quite a few have more yards than him now. He is on pace for 35 tds right now. If he hits 2,000+ with that many TD’s, he will definitely get a lot of votes.

It is a long season though, so a lot can happen.

The only way he wins is if we go 13-0. His numbers aren't gonna touch Melvin's, and both Jalen and Tua are gonna put up better numbers that Mariota. If we make the playoff and he owns the B1G Title Game, he'll probably win it, but that's not gonna happen outside of my fantasies.

playing only a 1/2 game isn't helping his Heisman ballot. Even if he gets 2,000...Qb's these days are throwing for 5,000 yds and 40-50 TD's. He has no chance beating them out especially considering one of those teams will probably go undefeated, at worse one loss.

Also, I doubt he will keep up that pace. He is starting to get into his tough games. Melvin had 32 total TD's and 2,700 total yards and didn't win it LOL. He got beat out by a guy that had 4,400 yards and 44 TD's. Tua already has 23 TD's, he will likely get at least that or more.

I wonder if having the last two winners will hurt Hurts chances.

I don’t see how they could keep Jonathan Taylor out of the conversation. He has 11 tds thru 3 games and is on pace to break 2,000 yards again on the ground and already set a career high in receptions this year thru 4 games.
Heisman is a quarterback award. Running backs rarely have a legitimate chance. If you are a non-qb or rb, your chances are basically 0.

They'll probably give it to the Oklahoma QB, again.

I am a firm believer that the Heisman goes to the best player, which is also THE player a successful team needs to have or their team would not be successful. Why out of your list I think it should be J. Taylor. All those other guys, those teams would still be winning football games without them, without Taylor I don't think Wisconsin is as good as they are, and I don't think their outlook for the rest of their season is as good as it will be with him on the roster.

But again, they'll give it to the Oklahoma transfer QB.

An Alabama RB won it not that long ago...

Preach it OD.

Stephen Hawking could throw for 5,000 yards with Oklahoma. It’s becoming less impressive every year. There hasn’t been a defender within 10 yards of an Oklahoma receiver in like 5 years.

Jalen Hurts puts up 506 yards of Oklahoma's 640 total yards vs Kansas. It's incredibly impressive.

That year a QB only threw 35 TD's. Watson who finished in 3rd also had 13 int's. Wasn't a crazy year for QB's. This year is crazy so far with Tua, Fields, Hurts and Burrow.

The only way Taylor gets a Heisman is if he stays 4 years and knocks off the all-time rushing record and gets a lifetime achievement award like Dayne did.

I could see Alvarez suspending him for the final 3 games of the season, and telling him he'll be suspended all of his Senior year if he returns, just to keep himself as the coach who coached the last Heisman winner at Wisconsin.

I want Jalen to win the Heisman, beat Alabama in the final and then bitch slap Saban at the 50 after the game. Would be epic and make me smile.
Why would Hurts Bitch Slap Saban?? They Love each other. Idk why everyone tries to paint it as Jalen hates Bama and Saban because he doesn’t. Nick Saban was almost in tears at the end of last years SECCG because he was so happy for Jalen. Saban stuck with him until he couldn’t. Fans were screaming for Tua in 2017 because he was better than Hurts and Saban still stuck with Jalen. Even last year Saban took a lot of heat from fans the 1st 4 games because he was still giving Jalen a chance to win the job and would give him his turn and it would Halt the offense. Then Tua would come back in and go right down the field and score.

Everyone in Alabama loves Jalen as does coach Saban and Jalen loves Alabama and Coach Saban. Zero Animosity. Everyone here wants Tua to win the Heisman but if he doesn’t Everyone would be Happy for Jalen.
