At least Chris Neil cares...
True, sorry Urk, I just didn't like that play against Pavs. I wish the Sharks had more players like Neil in all honesty.
At least Chris Neil cares...
Is he a rookie? I thought he played last year. Or was he called up so he's officially a rookie this year?

He was called up and didn't really get regular playing time until late in the season. This will be his first full year with the big club.
For the most part they are great but Randy has a tendency to say some stupid shit.
I love Randy but sometimes he is so cheesy. I prefer Dan Rusanowsky much more.
I think this is the game that proves this team needs some serious changes.
I don't think I've seen such a poor effort. They're just asking for it quite frankly.
If it were up to me then Chris Neil would be the only player I'd put on the ice right now.
And I guess I shouldn't just say this game. Last game against Edmonton too. You lose on home ice like that twice in a row and changes will happen.
Agreed.
This team has 4 groups of players.
1) By far the smallest group: those that give effort and deliver what's expected, for the most part injuries aside -
Neil
Fisher
Alfredsson
Michalek
2) A larger group here: those who try but just aren't very good at hockey right now -
Foligno
Kelly
Carkner
Philllips
Regin
Campoli
Shannon
Winchester
3) Another good sized group here: Really talented guys who are too dumb and/or lazy to be out there right now -
Spezza
Kovalev
Gonchar
Karlsson
4) The final, and most worthless, group: Guys who are neither good, smart or hardworking -
Kuba
Ruutu
The goalies are doing their job.
That was a disgrace tonight.
Pretty much spot on right here Kenny.
All I know is that this team needs a shakeup right now. It's pretty obvious at this point.
I'd love to see a shakeup, as long as it isn't the coach right now. Clouston was excellent last year and I don't think he's lost his touch. The stupidity shown out there with the puck has nothing to do with the coach.
I'm almost at the point to say tank for next year, as a rebuild would be quick with the D prospects we have. If we could get some forward prospects and drafts we'd be headed in a very solid direction.
I'd like to see the team compete once more in Alfie's career, but that doesn't look likely right now. So let's do a quick rebuild.
Last year there were some rough patches too but I don't remember any like this. The team is just not competing and they're not playing smartly.
Clouston seems like a good coach. I'm more just looking for answers as to why they're sucking so much. The real reason might just be that the team isn't good enough and that is on Murray, not Clouston.
Murray just might have to go. He's made for too many poor choices to stick around much longer.
I agree on restocking the forward prospects. That seems like a must at this point.
As for Alfie, if we're not going to win a cup then I want him to. We'll see how that plays out but I wan't him to get a cup before he's done.
I completely agree but I don't think he'd leave. I might be wrong but he's loyal to both Ottawa the team and Ottawa the city.
Maybe the team will turn it around. They did last year, but last year I never saw this level of apathy.
We'll see.
This is just fucking pathetic. The fans are the loudest they've been all year and you come out with lazy ass performance...
