Lebron played horrible today, but Bosh and Cole showed up to play. This isn't a good look for the Bulls because I can't see Lebron having this bad a game anymore this series.

yes, because NBA players in the 1990s walked uphill both ways in the snow to play Basketball.

The NFL is the only league that acknowledges the evolution and skill of its players.

The NBA (and especially baseball) refuses to believe these teams today are probably better.

It is a tiresome and easy way to try and devalue the greatness of guys like Lebron.

Bullshit. Maybe YOU should rewatch those games.

Actually, you might want to re-watch. This Bulls team is a finesse team compared to those late 80's thru 90's Pistons, Bulls, Heat and Knicks teams.

I haven't really been paying much attention but wasn't Butler on Wade? Who else is defending Lebron?

ahh, Gibson has been on Lebron too. Hasn't done too bad of a job himself

Fine. Show me footage of Jordan getting hard fouled after a play was over.

Prove it. I came up watching basketball in the 90s. You may WANT to remember games played that way, but I'm calling BS.

Its what happens in an NBA setting when you hug up on somebody and don't play team defense. Its a great way to stop someone scoring but it may give his teammates easy jumpshots and drives.

No it isn't. It's simply how the game was played then. In some ways, todays teams are better, however in some ways they are also worse.

For example, todays players depend much more on their athleticism rather than being fundamentally sound.

Also, claiming todays teams are automatically better, discounts the training, nutrition and medical advances that would also be available to those players from the past that weren't available to them back then.
