Brady is a great player despite his controversies. I just wish his O-line would get more credit cause he has had solid blocking most of his career.

Well, I think it's a little bit of both - you need a QB that has pocket presence, knows how to move within the pocket and get rid of the ball. I wouldn't say that line was good in 2015 when the Broncos hit Brady 20 some odd times in the AFC championship game. It was a banged up unit going down the stretch - It was so bad, they went into Miami running the ball most of the game (and lost with HFA om the line). Fired the OL coach after that... Scarnecchia then came back from retirement

Brady makes his lines look better than they are... but Scarnecchia deserves a ton of credit, probably the best OL coach in the league. The personnel has been fairly average with all the turnover over the years - and former linemen from the Pats have seldom made splashes elsewhere. None really come to mind - Woody? Mankins?
