The worst part is that it was upheld in replay, just like the HBP a couple weeks ago. They REALLY need to fix that.

I can see where it could be interference.

the fielder has the right of way in fielding the ball, but because the pitcher fields it and continues to run slowly along the batters path to 1B, the runner is unable to go all out to reach the bag. If the pitcher had fielded it and stayed clear of the runner, he'd be alright and the runner would be out. But because he continued to jog towards 1B after fielding, it slowed the runner, who didn't want to run into him.
