This is a bad image for him, granted. But I dont get the talk about a suspension. The game was over when he went back on the field.
His little tantrum tonight, proves he doesn't exactly get, the "TEAM thing". He was ejected, and then came back on the field, after the walk off HR ,and was still yelling at the umpire. He wants to promote "BASEBALL"..try a little class.
Mr. Harper......meet Mr. FINE or Mr. Suspension.
He can act like a douchebag day or night, Nationals are never making the WS
Being a Mariners fan, I defer to your expertise of what a team that will never make the WS looks like.
Biggest pee-leaking fanbase in sports.
He got tossed from the dugout. Arguing balls and strikes, for another batter. While Harper is a bit of a loose cannon I like him. Real issue to me are the umps being hardasses and baiting players to jaw at them so they can ring them up. Tough job but imo the umps are looking for trouble more times than not.
Barry Bonds should prolly sit down and have a chat with him.Part of me thinks this is part of his long term plan to be the biggest superstar, household name in baseball. He wants to have significant distance between him and the next best player. He knows he looks like a fool but headlines, regardless of good or bad, are still headlines. He wants to be in the news everyday. He wants everyone to talk about him.
Eh, still better than last season when David Ortiz had a pitch down the middle called a strike on him to make it a full count, then on the next pitch he gets a single, but gets ejected because he's still bitching about the strike 2 call(which was a strike BTW). I'll never understand the appeal of Big Papi,or understand how he gets a pass when it comes to admitted PED users.

This was an epic moment...nobody said word one about the f bomb.
Papi is bigger than life and his failings get overlooked, like DiMaggio or Ripken.

Same thing happens to Puig.If the media wouldn't make such a fuss over it, it wouldn't be a big deal but they demand that this is a huge deal when it really isn't.
And he is appealing it.Harper just got a one game suspension and a fine
