His little tantrum tonight, proves he doesn't exactly get, the "TEAM thing". He was ejected, and then came back on the field, after the walk off HR ,and was still yelling at the umpire. He wants to promote "BASEBALL"..try a little class.

While Harper is a bit of a loose cannon I like him. Real issue to me are the umps being hardasses and baiting players to jaw at them so they can ring them up. Tough job but imo the umps are looking for trouble more times than not.

You're never gonna win this fight here. No good player has ever yelled at an umpire before and been thrown out of a game. None. Certainly none of the beloved players of the teams the posters above root for. They are all choir boys. All incidents of Harper yelling at umpires prove that he does not belong in the league.

Seriously, though, do I like that he did this? No. He needs to let shit like this go. Umpires make bad calls...always have, always will. Say your piece then forget about it. But on the 1-10 scale of aggregious things that a player can do, this is a 2. It does not make him a bad ballplayer, and that's all anyone should really give a shit about.

Can I say scared and happy? If he's continues on somewhere close to where he's been the last half of 2015 and so far in 2016, it's awesome. The injury worries will always linger, though. Hopefully global warming continues so he doesn't have to pitch in the cold anymore.

You most certainly can! It is scary to commit that much money on one player, especially with that type of surgery. Injury worries that's for sure... Nationals are banking on them going away that's for sure

Part of me thinks this is part of his long term plan to be the biggest superstar, household name in baseball. He wants to have significant distance between him and the next best player. He knows he looks like a fool but headlines, regardless of good or bad, are still headlines. He wants to be in the news everyday. He wants everyone to talk about him.
