Chicago area papers are reporting that a month ago the kid was contacted by the assistant coach and he confirmed the scholarship and looked forward to the kids arrival. Don't know if that is true but it was reported that way.

A column in one Chicago paper (The Tribune) by a columnist who is offering an opinion having heard only one side of the story?

I would not be surprised if Rivals or 247 has an article from "UofM sources" soon and the kid and the High school football coach gets dragged through the mud. Most of these stories the truth usually falls somewhere in the middle.

I find it very funny that UofM signs a three star OT and tells a four star recruit to move on. Any difference or advantage would not be worth the bad PR. Unless like I said the kid got his offer and thought he was done earning it. The phrase I heard was Swenson was playing to not get hurt his senior year is a head scratcher.

For all the UofM blue bloods this is difficult to take. A coach changing the way the program does business! These recruits are getting a 4 year education and the chance to go pro. If you can't elevate your game and show you earned that scholarship be happy and play at a mid major. It's a business and Brady Hoke, Gary Moeller, and Lloyd Carr all learned the hard way, being good with class makes you a good guy but will get you run out of Ann Arbor eventually.

when it comes down to it the expectations that harbaugh puts on his players is just a lot higher than most kids are used to. he expects them to do well in class AND the field.. and doesn't stop pushing. Pressure makes diamonds...

By the way.. Gary Moeller would have coached much longer and probably been very successful if not for his drinking issue.

I said, IF you are concerned about grammar. Personally, I'm not a member of the Grammar Gestapo--particularly on an Internet discussion board.

Neither is anyone else in general. Unless someone posts huge blocks of text.

I didn't even know who you were until last week when you started making bullshit claims after posting a huge wall of text.

As far as I can tell, you are just a bandwagon Michigan fan who only started posting here now that Michigan has had some success.

Holy shit, are you fucking serious?

You need to go back to school.

Actually, I don't need to go back to school. I will simplify it even more for you. You have three subjects, three verbs and no commas or connectors to bring the sentence together.

As far as the 'free sentence checker' -- it is worthless. It is basically spellcheck. If you type in the correct way, which I showed you. It will tell you, there are no errors. Misspell a word and it will correct you.

Gary Moeller would have survived that drinking issue if had not put two years in a row of 8-4 records up.
