Nothing like a random day off. This is exactly why I hope Canada remains part of the Commonwealth, at least until I retire.

Is Victoria Day kinda like Easter for Canadians?

Well we actually celebrate Easter too. As far as I'm concerned, Victoria Day really is just a meaningless holiday not that I'm complaining. A lot of Canadians probably couldn't even tell you the name of the holiday. They just know it as "The May long weekend". I guess its basically just a British holiday that we get to enjoy since we are still part of the Commonwealth (whatever that means excactly).

Oh, we have 3 of those holidays, President's day, Columbus day, and here in Mass, Patriots day. Off course half the country doesn't get them off
