I am not a football fan, but I HAVE to watch the Lions game, it's tradition. My dad loved his Lions, and I watch for him.

This time of the year is rough for me since my parents passed away. Just makes me miss them more.

Ironically, a couple years ago the NFL tried to take the Lions Thanksgiving game away from them. This time I believe they are the only team playing tomorrow with better than a .500 record. Or so I heard somewhere..

I think they are the only team over .500 but the Packers, Cowboys, Steelers and Ravens are on the cusp too, so those games are going to mean a lot - may not have great teams but those are going to be huge games for playoff possibilities

Cowboys will not be wearing throwbacks this year, some new rule regarding concussions and breaking in helmets for a certain period of time. Shame, I love seeing the old school unis. Oh well, Cowboys blue jerseys are great as well.
