Happy/Exhausted : Could NOT get that boy off the ice today

I like the Halloween candy versions of those videos because there's a few adorable kids that are just like "Oh, it's okay...I forgive you! I love you!" and my heart melts.

Lil' Biz is looking pretty steady out there! Good work hockey dad!

Yup, rink is pretty close.
We have this one in Wake Forest only a few miles away, so no need to head to any of the far more crowded ones in Raleigh. This is a converted factory complex, conveniently called "the factory", with 2 ice rinks, indoor soccer, basketball, tumble gyms, Karate, music lessons, power skating trainers, YMCA/Gym, meeting spaces and restaurants.
Not bad for lil' old Wake Forest.

It was actually hard to explain to him this morning that it was only an open skate, so he couldn't bring his stick, etc. Uncle Ian took him to a stick&puck for his first time, so thats what he was expecting. Was not understanding why he could not bring his stick. lol

pretty sure i'm curling there on sunday haha.. i'll keep an eye out for lil biz and his flyers jersey

good stuff though biz, makes me excited to have kids down the road

i have no idea haha.. we're doing some 'learn to curl' thing, in an attempt to convince more of our soccer team to take up curling as our 2nd team sport

My boy tossed BOTH HIS GLOVES as if it was time to throw down and assumed the stance.
