Customers only or employees too? We have a grocery store chain here with one way aisles but they also offer curbside pickup so the employees go wherever they feel like compiling orders. After running into the same guy going the wrong way three aisles in a row, I got all passive aggressive and asked him to help me understand the directional signs. My Aunt Karen would have been proud.

Left the staff alone - they are new, after all.
And mainly kept to the larger outside aisles.

Funny thing was, the freezer section had an odd number of aisles, so the last two just went the same way. I didn't (politely) yell at people there.

The only store I've been in with aisles is Aldi... And you're probably in the minority if you're following the arrows.

Relating to Canada and spicy ramen, one of my favorite memories watching hockey was the 2014 Olympic Gold Medal Game. It started at like 7 am ET and I was in my early 20s, so instead of setting an alarm, I stayed up all night drinking to watch it. At some point during the game I cooked up perhaps the hottest bowl of ramen I have ever had. And then Crosby and Chris Kunitz scored goals. Good times.

I shop at mainly Aldi and Kroger for groceries. Aldi has them, but they aren't followed in the store I shop in. They aren't in Kroger. I don't recall seeing them at Menards, Target, or Dicks. I think those are the only other stores I've been in lately.

I do most of my shopping at Aldi too. The way Aldi is laid out lends itself to one way traffic. Of course people don't follow it.

Giant Eagle is the one that is trying one way aisles. And failing miserably.

The idea is that you shouldn't have to pass by people coming the other way, thereby making staying 6 feet apart easier. But like you said even if people do it, you will still have to slink past someone who is looking at the pickles like it's a bunch of small alien spacecraft.

if everyone is going 1 way you lessen the chances of someone coughing or sneezing directly into the face head on of someone else.

I guess people can look at that being absurd but if this is the type of “sacrifice” thats untenable for some well then we’re fucked lol

/the most absurd one i saw is this ... one way traffic on this??? Good luck enforcing this on kids ... first and foremost good luck tracking those slippery little shits down!
