I couldn't do anything but laugh in the 9th with Choo at bat, and Busby carping like a seal about "Choo is really in the zone now and he won't swing at anything not over the plate."

Very next pitch (already 2 strikes) and Choo swings at strike 3 which was a solid 5 inches off the inside part of the plate.

Listening to Busby and expecting him to make sense is like going to a picnic and not expecting ants.

Yes, Cliff had a rough debut with us and then had 3 fantastic games in a row. He struggled then some in mid to late August due to Wash insisting on pitching him every 5 days even when they had off days. At that time of year a guy needs every extra day of rest he can get and Wash abused him. Once he went 12 days between starts from the end of August to almost mid September he was very good again on through the playoffs.

I like the Nap move. He has been in a hot streak. Claims he has things figured out. I do think he platoons at 1B and is a major late inning threat off the bench as Mitch will be as well. JD has masterfully maneuvered us back into the equation. Plus a brilliant marketing move to generate attendance and crowd presence. He is a fan fav and THE chants will be brought back. NAP O LEE
