I can understand how catchers keep getting signed over and over until they are truly over (the hill.)
But I see Adam Rosales got a contract with the Orioles.
Is there something about these players that keeps them in the league while dozens of prospects wait until they're too old to prosper?
Who's your favorite hanger-on? I'm partial to Miguel Cairo.

I think Darwin Barney may be one of those guys.
Ronny Cedeno made a career out of showing up in Florida in March.

We're lucky now that some of these guys are able to get contracts in Korean leagues.
Honestly, the regurgitation of .199 hitting UT guys is more than annoying. The Kris Negrons of baseball are what we small market fans have to swallow. It's fine if they never have to play. It's amusing when they get 20 at-bats a week.

GMs just love shitty utility guys. Gotta get that veteran experience in there.

Translated, "great clubhouse chemistry," meaning he almost likes the same kind of music the players do without actually appearing to be a little younger than their grandfathers. So that clubhouse leadership is ... well, at least I know where to go if you need a slumpbuster babe.

Ronny Cedeno and Adam Rosales both helped me win a Diamond Mind World Series in 2013 (2012 real life season). I'll never speak ill of either one.

Ronny was the master of the 185-foot extra-base hit. I think he probably won 25 games against the Reds during his stellar career. Rosales, of course, was traded by the Reds for 2 guys who never even made the Reds spring roster. Lord, how we fans missed Rosey and his pal Willy Taveras.
