and
these two statements do not jive. anyone else see a discrepancy here?
also in last night's game thread, a few people (including me, i will admit) had some complaints about the refs, and your interpretation was that we thought there was some "conspiracy" against the wings. that's a big logical leap, in my opinion.
not sure if you have some kind of latent hard on for the wings or what, but contadicting yourself is not doing you any favors or winning you any fans.
Fair enough, the second quote you quoted was a little antagonistic, I apologize for that.
The "conspiracy" quote was in reference to other GDT's or posts people have made on this board in the past. BlueandWhite especially, but many others have outright said that Bettman / the NHL / refs favor non traditional markets. In numberous GDT's, posters here have made comments like "well Bettman seems to be getting what he wants." When a bad call went the Coyotes way vs Vancouver people were outright linking it to the NHL owning the Coyotes. There is no other way to interpret that other than some posters are implying that there is some sort of conspiracy.
And then yesterday, when a few legitimate calls were called against the Wings everyone starts talking about how the Wings get no room for error, implying they are at a competitive disadvantage (BS!!).
Everyone picks on the little guys on this board so somebody has to step in to defend them.
