Dude.

Regardless of whether or not MJ really believes he is the GOAT, there is nothing humble about Michael Jordan.

You are deluding yourself if you think otherwise.

Both shown their giant egos in different ways.

I just don’t understand how anybody who knows anything about MJ can think he is a humble man.

Crazy.
On the court MJ was all business

I’ll leave it at that

You are looking at 1 very small aspect of their personalities.

Of course Jordan’s answer to that 1 question. is more humble.

But you are acting like that is the only measure of humility.

It’s not.

And MJ would not be in the GOAT conversation if he really were as humble as you say. Killer instinct and humility do not mix.
So having a killer instinct makes him not humble? Are you fucking kidding me? Lol

I think he’s confusing confidence with humble

MJ exuded nothing but confidence on the court, never witnessed anything unsportsmanlike

Am I missin something here?

So did Draymond. I don't get what the point is you are trying to make.
Yeah but Steve Kerr came right back at MJ instead of bitching out like Poole lol

No, I know what humility is.

You make a list of the least humble players in NBA history and MJ and LeBron are both on it.

You simply can’t get to that level of a hyper competitive field without a massive ego.

MJ always had to be in control, he had issues trusting teammates and he was an absolute tyrant when things didn’t go his way.

Trying to paint Jordan as humble is ridiculous.

And nobody in their right mind would call that tyrant humble.

It isn’t a dig on Jordan. It is just the truth.

Jordan was a master at controlling interviews and only showing the sides of him that he wanted the public to see.

Pasta, this stuff isn't some secret. MJ has had more books and movies and articles made about him than pretty much any athlete ever. Surprised you haven't seen that movie with how much you love that player and era. You should check it out. Also did you ever read The Jordan Rules? You should check that out too.

The man has a massive ego...and well deserved when it comes to playing the game. So does LeBron. tlance is right, all the greats better believe they are great or they won't be.

Ok …

He had a massive ego!!!

What do you think it takes to want to be the best, to prove your the best nite in and nite out in front of millions

He took charge, isn’t that what you want ? There has to be a leader.

He wanted perfection, he just about got it!

I was a Knicks fan, I didn’t follow MJ

But cmon, he backed up who he was! That’s all you should feel about the guy!

All of that is true until your last line. You are limiting how much and in what way we should feel about MJ? The fuck does that mean?

MJ is arguably the most important and compelling sports figure of the postwar era. Definitely team sports (maybe Ali is bigger, or Jackie Robinson). There's not 'one way' to feel about him.

MJ was incredible and we will never see another like him in all those specific ways.

Really though, go check out those movies and books, you'll learn a lot about the guy.

Whoa whoa whoa

How MJ lived his life off the court was his business

He didn’t owe me or you or anybody anything

He got paid to put on a show, and that he did.

Clearly, he couldn’t control his voracious appetite to compete in whatever his interests were…

Are you sayin he didn’t give back?

Dude, you got to get over yourself

This ain’t rocket science were talkin about
It’s just too hard to converse with you, it’s fine. You’re a good dude and have a good sense of humor but when I try to talk about something with you it’s randomness and tangents and you just can’t do it. Your posts have almost nothing to do with what you’re replying to like that last one to me

Like I said, moving on
