One last thing, how in the world can the RB position be ok? Love has never touched the ball and had to sit out all of last year. We have no clue what he has and is STILL recovering from a 2018 ACL tear. Guice literally cannot stay healthy and is on year 3. AP is 35 years old. We are in a BAD spot.

b/c they are both talent young RB's. Any RB can get hurt. Its the easiest position to fill. We are not in a bad spot at RB, even if Chris Thompson leaves thru FA>

How many more times are we going to say we are in a 3-5 turnaround? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. We have been in a 3-5 turnaround for over 15 years now. At some point, we have to draw a line in the sand and go for it. If we are "frugal" in FA and I have proven we do not draft well and hit on 50% of our picks, then what suggestions do you have?

What talent are we giving up? Flowers? He is on his 4th team in 5 years and graded out as an average Guard. I do not know why people are emotionally attached to him and some of the other medicore players we have. Just because we signed or drafted them does not magically make them "key players".

we signed norman to a huge contract while breeland wins a superbowl for far less . we needlessly trade for a qb who gets injured while fuller is playing in a superbowl . we draft austin in round 7 develop him and he starts and wins in a superbowl we botch the KC affair and the TW affair

now you tell me where we are getting money next year to improve in FA ? signing hooper and bradbury for 12 and 15 mil isnt frugal its overpaying and niether is in the "best in the game category "

He is he BPA and fills a need. I want Young b/c he gives this team a legit pass rusher. RK best days are gone, Sweat the jury is still out, Allen is not a legit pass rusher. Having a legit pass rusher trumps every position on the defense.

i will say this he appears to be the best player ( i say simmons and brown are right there with okuda ) but i hardly call DE a need . its our strongest position

now how can you say the jury is still out on sweat but declare love is the answer when he has done nothing as a pro ?

allen not a legit PR ? for a DT he certainly is and we have ionman and payne . RK was hurt last season so perhaps it was just an off year and hell there will be a new guy in the next draft

I am not angry...just frustrated...LOL. We keep putting off building this team for some reason.

I am not a BPA guy and I do not feel it works unless you are a top team. I would never draft the BPA on a draft board and I do not feel it works.

I agree that having a superior Edge helps..ALOT.

The problem is that the offense is the worst offense in the league and it will suffer if we take Young. LT > Edge

The defense could be fun to watch, but our QB will have no weapons and no blind side protection. There are no LT in FA so a 3rd rounder will have to take that position which scares me. We appears to be going after the top free agents so that meas we will not have the cap room to address the offense. That should scare everybody.

IM a fan of Sweat but he is no way the talent that Young is. I do believe he can be a great player for us. Its the reason why I want to trade RK or Allen b/c of the presence of Sweat. Right now the savings of 11million for RK out ways his production. Too many games RK has disappeared in when healthy. He WAS a great player for us but its time to move on. Redskins are saying they will draft Tua at Number 2 or at least that's what they want the Dolphins to believe. I think this is a great strategy at the moment because the Dolphins must decide if the Redskins are bluffing or not. Let's not get carried away dad. Ironman is our best DL right now as he makes plays rushing the passer and tackling the ball carrier. The guy has blown away his draft status. Allen is on his rookie deal so there is that but another year of evaluation on him could mean we resign. Kerrigan, albeit a very good Redskin, is really the odd man out unless he takes a significant pay cut. Reality is he is on the wrong side of 30 and his play has diminished. If ANY team is willing to take Kerrigan for a 3rd, you definitely do it however, I'm not so sure there will be many suitors unless it is a top 5 team looking to add a vet pass rusher thinking that will put them over the top. Doubt it.
