I never break down for anything sports related....but I don't know if it was the fact that the game was so dramatic, or the fact that that guy is never going out that tunnel anymore, but when the buzzer hit, I lost it.

Man I don't know how I'll handle it when Wade retire if I'm this sad with Kobe ( a man who I disliked for just about his entire career) retires

I'm in the same boat with Wade as well. I've despised Kobe until the last couple of years. But it was definitely sobering see him leave the game. I'll miss cheering against him.

It was also great to see him go out in a game where he looked reminiscent to the old Kobe. 60 points in a final career game, not bad at all.

I don't think wade, lebron anybody else will get near the coverage Kobe has. The whole world was watching.

Lebron will. Wade won't, but it will be Miami fans that are holding the same type of celebration for him.

The depression set in.

Duncan is next. That is going to devastate us Spurs fans.

Although, he will just be gone one day without any announcement or warnings. He wont show up to the arena.

Reporters will ask Pop questions where he is, and he will say "like I know the answer to that dumb question."

That will be it. No one will ever see or hear from him again.

But, Kobe did it the right way. A great balance of fanfare and pragmatism.

When I got the update last night I couldn't believe it. I thought it was a joke and then I remember Utah was fighting for the playoffs. Yes, he took 50 shots but he had some throwback scoring runs. Like he said the only better way to go to was with another ring.

It was nuts. He started off 0-5 and I was thinking "Oh no, this gonna be really, really bad." Then he scored 15 straight points. Then, he scores 23 in the 4th quarter at age 37. Wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't watched it.

Leave it to Kobe to upstage a team that was setting the NBA regular season wins record.

What a fun night. The pre-game ceremony. LT keeping it classy during the player introductions. All the messages from the players and celebs. The comeback and game winner. An Adam Morrison sighting. The post-game speech. The long podium interview. Thank you Kobe!

I hate Kobe. Always have, always will.

But man he's one of the greatest players I will probably see play in my lifetime. Respect how much effort and dedication he put into his craft. It was a great run and a nice send-off.

Respect, Kobe.

I have been watching him since he became a Laker. I really enjoyed seeing all of the tributes in every arena but last night was special. It was nice to see all of his former teammates show up to support him- given his bad rep of being a terrible teammate.

I agree with what Charles Barkley said the other night-that it's been a joy to see another side of Kobe this season and have really enjoyed his candor attitude the entire season. His drive to win, his work ethic & his greatness on the court will all be missed dearly!

I think Duncan will shoot 60 times in his last game.

Top 15, top 10, blah blah blah...

He was the only player who had the abilities to play like Jordan. He was great. Ranking players is kind of pointless.
