Not sure what the point of this post, but the hate was for the epic Jazz 4th quarter choke job, not for Kobe.

I don't agree - I think you might be over-looking just what Kobe is capable of. The difference this last season is that Kobe dialed his game back to let the young players developed which was a huge sacrifice to his personal game.

Man I don't know how I'll handle it when Wade retire if I'm this sad with Kobe ( a man who I disliked for just about his entire career) retires

You might be upset because I have a hard time visualizing any player getting the kind of farewell tour that Kobe got, but I do think it will be pretty good if he stays with Miami and markets it right and Kobe will be there to wish him well

As a person who loved to hate Kobe, I thought I never see the day I would cheer for Kobe to shoot ever shot. His competitiveness and his heart for the game is the reason why he gets my respect.

Were we watching the same Kobe this year? He looked gassed almost every game and took some very tough shots often (not an issue, he is old). Yeah he dialed back some and it was great to see him give his all in that last game, that was awesome but now way in heck do I think he would have been more effective with more usage all year. But I don't think he sat there and said "lets let these young guys learn to hit the offensive boards this year, I'm going to shoot 35%" or "lets let these guys really learn how to play D, I'm going to stand flat footed out there when guys go by" to help the team out.

It is pretty impressive to finish with 60 when he only had 37 after the 3rd quarter.
