I'm a National League guy, so I don't see him pitch very often, but seriously

You know you've got something special when you're not worried about him pitching in Rangers Ballpark. The guy has killer stuff.

haha. I had to look at that for a little while, maybe it's my one bad eye?

Still wish he would use his fastball more, but he is pure filth.

Thank you Mr. Ringo for being my tech support, and bringing forth the pix & GIF's I have found & posted recently. And, by your location, for your love of the movie Mr. Deeds.

You know, Texas has had some very good pitching at rbia from all of their rotation the last 3 years or so. Colby Lewis, Matt Harrison, Yu Darvish, Ogando, Wilson was good when he was here (though he's a huge douche), and now Holland are all showing that if you keep the ball down and have good stuff you can be very successful at rbia.

I wish I really knew how to cut and paste, as if I did, you would be seeing a video here instaed of just a link to one. Still, it makes for a very cool visual.

Fan-freaking-tastic: all of Yu Darvish?s pitches at once | HardballTalk

That is sick.

Thank you. It's funny, as basic cut and paste, I know. HOWEVER, after being on CBS so long, and never being able to cut and paste pix into my posts there NOT for the CBS site itself, I kind of forgot that this is not an issue everywhere else.

DOH!!

Longfellow Deeds: How you doin', pal? I got your pizza for you, just the way you like it.
Crazy Eyes: Oh, yes. French Fries and Oreos, you know me all too well, Deeds.

You could make that same visual for a dozen or so big league pitchers, he's a great pitcher all the same though.

Good point. I'm a big Holland fan, and it looks like he's finally getting things together. Harrison? Even when he was healthy, he scared me a little. I also like Ogando, but Darvish? Darvish is flat-out filthy.

Someone could, and probably has. Someone A LOT more tech talented than I though.

Something about me being an old dog, and that being a new trick.......

Harrison isn't an ace by any means but he's an aggressive extreme ground ball pitcher who has figured out how to work quickly and get outs. His numbers have been really good the last couple years. He's not an ace but he is a bulldog and an innings eater. He's a good #2-3.

I suppose, but I've never seen it before....

You always hear about a consistent release point, but unitl you get a real visual, the awesomeness doesn't sink in.... Even his arm speed is the same!
